What it does

Plan the week once.
Let the posts go out on time.

The Calendar shows your posts and your weekly plan together. Switch between month and week, and every post shows where it stands: Draft, Scheduled, Published, Pending Review or Rejected.

Suggestions from your weekly strategy sit on their days, with the format and topic. Create a post from one and the editor opens with the plan’s suggested time already filled in.

In the editor you pick the channels, so one post can go to Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn at once. Set a date and time, schedule it, and POSTIVA publishes it through your connected account. Plans change? Drag the post to another day.

If a post can’t be published, you’ll know: you get a notification, and the post shows the publish status for each platform, with a way to reconnect when the connection is the problem.

Why it helps

Less juggling.
More calm, regular posting.

“I only post when I remember.”

Regular without the effort

Schedule posts ahead and they go out on time, even in your busiest weeks.

“I have too many apps open.”

One place for every channel

Your plan and your posts in one view. One post can go to Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.

“My week never goes to plan.”

Move a post in a second

Drag a post to another day and it’s rescheduled. No need to start over.

“Did that post actually go out?”

You always know

Every post shows its status. If publishing fails, POSTIVA tells you and shows what to fix.

How to use it

From the calendar
to a published post, in seven steps.

  1. Open the Calendar

Switch between Month and Week; Today brings you back to the current date. Posts show their status: Draft, Scheduled, Published, Pending Review or Rejected. Items marked Strategy suggestion come from your weekly plan.

Use the filters for All channels or a single platform, and All posts, Scheduled, Drafts or Published. Strategy suggestions can be shown or hidden, and POSTIVA remembers your choice. My posts lists the same posts with the same filters.

  2. Start with New post or a suggestion

New post opens Create post. Or open a Strategy suggestion and create the post from it: the editor starts with the plan’s suggested time already set. Days that have passed don’t offer this.

  3. Pick the channels and the format

Choose the channels from your connected accounts; one post can go to several platforms. No account connected yet? A shortcut opens Integration Settings, where the profile’s owner can connect one.

Under Format: choose Post or Reel. Add more than one photo or video and it becomes a Carousel, with up to 9 items (a Reel takes 1). You can also tick Add a first comment after publishing.

Create post with Facebook and Instagram selected and the Post and Reel formats
  4. Set publication date

Pick a date and time in your profile’s time zone; it has to be in the future. Changed your mind? Remove schedule. On a large screen, a live Facebook or Instagram preview shows how the post will look, first comment included.

Set publication date with a calendar, the best time for the profile and a custom time
  5. Schedule, publish or save

The main button follows your choices: Schedule post, Publish now (POSTIVA asks Publish now? first) or Save as draft. If you’re a collaborator whose posts need approval, you’ll see Submit for Approval instead.

At the scheduled time, POSTIVA publishes the post through your connected account.

  6. Drag to reschedule

On a large screen, drag a post to another day in the calendar to give it a new date. It keeps its time of day, and you can’t drop it on a day that has passed. Posts pending approval and strategy suggestions stay where they are.

On a phone, change the date in the editor instead.

A post moved to 10 October, scheduled for 5:00 PM on Facebook and Instagram
  7. If a post can’t be published

You get a notification asking you to open the app. The post shows a red warning sign next to its platform icons; tap it to see Publishing failed with the platform and the reason. If the connection is the problem, reconnect the account in Integration. In the weekly plan, that day shows Couldn’t publish.
